We are meeting the practical needs of families effected by cancer. Halle had dreams to make the lives’ of other cancer patients more comfortable. By reducing the stress out of life surrounding treatment, patients have more energy to fight their battle.

Home Away From Home
Some of Halle’s friends provided the gift of housing so she and her family could have a home base in Columbus during treatment. Share Your Story’s first goal is to provide low-to-no cost housing for families staying in Columbus for any period of time that would require lodging. We are providing the same home away from home feeling to other families, whether they are coming from Cleveland, California, or Cameroon.

Our Goals
Comfortable and Classy
One of Halle’s biggest complaints during treatments were the hospital gowns. She loved fashion, especially if that fashion could be practical. One of her first dreams to help other cancer patients was to design pajamas that were warm, comfortable, but had the necessary access points for a port or other treatments. Share Your Story’s second goal is to develop and distribute a comfortable and practical pajama like Halle had imagined to remove one discomfort from a patient’s treatments.

Riding with The Greatest Team Ever
The Pelotonia community was instrumental in Halle’s treatment progress. From connecting her to Dr. Roberts at Nationwide Children’s, providing housing and meals, to the support they have already shown Share Your Story. We have created a Peloton dedicated to Halle. With this Peloton we collectively raise money for cancer research and bike miles for a cause Halle cared so deeply for.
